Vineyards in the Castelli Romani

Though it is winter, on sunny days a walk through the vineyards is a lovely experience.  The Castelli Romani is full of vineyards and olive groves that have fed and “watered” Rome for centuries.  The Castelli Romani is a group of hilltop villages near surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and fields with sheep and are a perfect wine tasting and cultural excursion from Rome.
