Winery and Vineyard Visit

1 Mar

Yesterday I took my wine students on a vineyard and winery visit in Frascati. It is great for them to see where wine is produced. Here are some photos…

First we visited the vineyards to see how grapes are grown.

Then we I showed them how some wines are aged in oak barrels

Then we visited the very unique cellar which is located in an ancient Roman aqueduct.

And finally we got to taste the wines!
