Foraging Ciccoria in the Castelli Romani

This past weekend I was honored to be hosted on the How to Tour Italy radio show hosted by Anthony Capozzoli.  This is my second interview with him and as usual he is a fun and graceful host.  In this audio clip you can hear me talk abut foraging for edible “weeds”, how wild asparagus changed my life and the many ways the Laziale prepare artichokes.  We’ll soon be offering a countryside foraging and cooking tour, so we hope you make it.  One important point I make is a comment on the fact that so many people are willing to spend 13 hours of their day on a day trip from Rome to Tuscany when you can have a real authentic country experience much closer.  Get to know Lazio!
